Had a delicious lunch at the Pontoon Patio Bar in Port Dover. Ordered a selection of the dips, babaganoush, whipped feta, tapenade, hummus, spinach and artichoke, romensco and French onion dip. The portions were very generous and delicious. We had a veggie basket and tacos and bread to dip with. The restaurant sits above the street and we enjoyed the view as we dined. The service was excellent and we are already planning our next trip back there.

Fricken amazing! Had the fried chicken dinner w chicken strips it was really tasty breaded just right and well seasoned the chicken was super moist and the shack chips were phenomenal! The slaw was super tasty and complimented the whole dish definitely need to check them out

Called before they were open and they called me back without me even leaving a message, took my order and it was ready by the time they opened for business.... now that's what I call great service, had the shackwich with slaw and I have to say it was the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. I'm not a fan of coleslaw but man did it ever compliment the sandwich. 5 star will be back for more and with others.

This place is awesome! Seriously, this is the best fried chicken sandwich you've ever tasted! Try the klaw (kimchi based coleslaw) on your chicken snadwich! It is delicious! To top it all off, the gentlemen running the place are all very friendly and genuinely passionate about serving good quality food to their customers, and it shows! I will defnitely be back!!

This place is a hidden gem! We went to the Pontoon by fluke as the restaurant we wanted to check out originally was closed. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and the quantity of food Pontoon presented to us. On the outside, this place might look like a medicor small-town diner. However, we can reassure you that you will adore this little eatery as much as we did! We ordered the French legs, which is basically whole chicken legs with the bottom part of the legs deboned and flipped to the top. Then the legs were breaded and fried. We had the garlic pepper sauce to go with the legs. The crust was super crispy. The meat was juicy, tender, and impeccably seasoned. The garlic pepper sauce was bursting with a great balance of aroma and flavors. The chicken sandwich is a must-try. Sandwiched between aromatic saseme buns, the succulent piece of meat was wrapped in crunchy and flavourful breading of right thickness. Again, Pontoon nailed this dish. We also ordered a salad that was fresh, with a good mix of seasonal greens and refreshing dressing. We are very satisfied with this place. One recommendation would be to forgo the disposables to save the environment.

Gosh darn good chicken strips — wish I got a pic of em with the awesome dips the guy brought out – bbq, some awesome slow-creepin hot sauce, and black pepper + garlic? So tender, perfectly seasoned, paired w a great, cold crisp beer (landshark lager) and a seat in the shade. What more could you want after a day on the pier. Oh yea!
